First, here are the photos from the Matrix themed shoot. I believe they turned out pretty well!

Now to talk about my business, and the evolution I want to gear it towards. I’ve had fun doing these themed shoots for the past couple months, but that’s the thing, they’ve all been “themed”. I don’t feel a great sense of accomplishment when I take already existing material, and base a shoot off of it. The themes that I’ve done have been anything but original, and that’s not what I want to strive for as a photographer. I need to start creating my own unique concepts. I need to create a personal style of my own that others can see and know that it is my work without the need of my watermark on the picture. So, from now on, I’m dedicating my conceptual work to my own thoughts and interests. And for those who know me, know that my thoughts and interests are anything but ordinary.

I’m a little late getting these up, but it’s better late than never!

This was a really fun, surprise shoot. I say surprise, because I had no idea that she would arrive dressed and looking like a lion. It turned out awesome, though! Here they are:

To further delve into the “Halloween” -esque themes I’ve been shooting the past couple weeks, here are the photos from the “Silent Hill” shoot!

I even made a speed editing video of one of the photos. You can see it here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeGoMTMDLkE

Vampires!

No, it’s not Halloween, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t shoot vampires! ;)

These images turned out great, and I think it’s safe to say that she makes a pretty cool vampire.

This past Sunday, I went out and did a shoot with the theme of water in mind!

It’s pretty amazing how they turned out. Here are two of the photos. More will come.

I’m already planning some more shoots with models with completely different concepts!

I can’t wait to see how my next shoot with turn out!

Team Golden.

Today, I did an “I Am Legend” themed shoot!

She and her dogs participate in this competition called “Dock dogs” (www.dockdogs.com), and she wanted a cool poster to advertise her team, “Team Golden”.

After battling the snow/rain conditions, I was able to turn their photo into this! It looks like an authentic movie or TV poster. Pretty awesome!
